One of my first jobs as a production supervisor. Shot on the Chaplin Stage on the Henson Lot on a 1970s tube camera we bought from a TV station in Boston to keep with the lofi vibe of the album. Puppet was a prototype from Seed of Chucky fabricated by Tony Gardner, whose team did the puppeteering (7 guys!). Directed by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. DP was David Lanzenberg. It took A LOT of coats of paint to turn the Chaplin stage red. Pyramid design found its way into the Daft Punk set at Coachella in 2006, and then their Alive tour.
